Speaking

I’m available to speak on the following topics:

  • Nonprofit leadership, based on my 2016 book Growth through Governance.
    • Volunteer and committee leadership
    • Board responsibilities and roles
    • Organizational ethics and conflicts of interest
    • Project planning and management
  • Responding to poverty and homelessness, based on my work as Rabbi of the San Francisco Night Ministry.
  • Responding to reports of demon possession, based on my advanced practice clinical chaplaincy with psychiatric patients at UCSF Health.
  • Building Jewish community in South Korea, based on my work as Rabbi of Hakehillah Korea, the only Jewish organization in Korea other than Chabad. This speaking engagement raises funds for Hakehillah Korea.

I’ve spoken at many synagogues, the San Francisco Jewish Community Center, many national conferences, San Francisco’s Hartford Street Zen Center, and more.

Please be in touch if you’d like to book me for a speaking engagement!
